I think that he has experienced alot, and been through alot.
2. Tom Hayden does not see himself as a civil rights leader. Do you see him as one? Why or why not?
If Tom Hayden does not see himself as a Civil Rights leader, then I think that he is not, and more of a really good citizen
3. Tom Hayden feels that leaders are not as important as the hundreds or thousands of people behind them. What does he mean by that?
He means that the leader is only one person, but there is hundreds of thousands of people that follow that one person, so the numbers are more important than the single person.
